In the State Level Competition for best administrative practices, Dept of Sainik Welfare stood 3rd under Rajiv Gandhi Prashaskiya Gatimanata (Pragati) Abhiyan Va Spardha - 2014. In this regard, Col Suhas S Jatkar (Retd) Director Dept of Sainik Welfare, Maharashtra State, was honoured by Shri Devendra Fadnavis, Honorable Chief Minister of Maharashtra by giving a Trophy, Certificate and a Cheque of Rs 4 lacs at Sahyadri Atithi Gruha, Mumbai on 20 Apr 2015
